Well, as you probably realise, I am back to work running my interior design workshops! I got to the point that I was absolutely fed up with being the patient! Please click here to read more (and I hope of particular support to readers who are also afflicted with cancer). >>>>>>
I feel so much stronger than I was. I should do, as I put back on the 2 stone in weight that I lost plus an extra half stone! I feel really healthy too.
I am still following the bristol die
t by and large which basically is all about eating lots and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables a day (wonderful colours), eating wholefoods, plus juicing, avoiding red meat and dairy (I find this the hardest), avoiding caffeine and alcohol (also hard - I love good wine)! The only way that I can make this work for me is by applying the 80/20% rule. 80% of the time I follow it and 20% of the time I allow myself treats. Otherwise it doesn't work for me - it is bad enough having cancer but too awful to be denied treats!
I also see Mr. Suzuki, energy healer, who works on getting the blood flowing around the body. He manipulates the bones (with some pain) to free blockages. i think he has helped me enormously - although he was cross with me the other day when I came in nursing a hurt back.......I felt so good that I went for a bounce on my sons' new trampoline.......
I have another scan at the end of this month and then the consultation with Dr. Wasan at Hammersmith hospital a few days later. They are trying to determine whether I (still) have cancer in my liver - I am a bit of an enigma to them. But I can't be sick, feeling and looking as well as I do!
Back to running my workshops means that I am alive again creativly! Visiting interior design showrooms, looking at new collections, reading my design magazines, writing articles, learning to do new things on my computer, preparing new exercises for my interior design courses, writing new content for the workshops etc., etc., Great!
So, brilliant doctors, chemo, diet, Mr. Suzuki, creativity and most importantly, prayer. Thank you all!
